You are invited to join U3A for lunch with Prue Acton OBE. You will hear some of the stories from her remarkable life as well as the issues she is passionate about.

After studying at RMIT from the age of 15, Prue focussed on fashion design, becoming an icon of the vibrant youth culture of the Swinging 60s. Prue describes herself as an artist who worked in fashion - for nearly three decades she was one of Australia's leading designers with a multi-national business. In the late 1980s, Prue returned to painting and now
lives amongst the coastal bush on the Far South Coast where she creates things of beauty and works hard to save the environment she loves.

Prue will be interviewed during lunch by a local ABCSouth East NSW presenter. The interview will be recorded for the local radio.
