Cheryl Davison & Lee Cruse Exhibition,Ivy Hill Gallerywith Helen Neeson
Art can provoke a rethinking of our perceptions and ideas through recognising and critiquing the messages that the artist is trying to communicate to us, the viewers. Art can also be just for sheer fun.

In this occasional series, we will explore the world of art and art techniques through visits to galleries and exhibitions (perhaps meeting with the creators or curators) and then spend time together to discuss our impressions, reactions and interpretations. No prior knowledge of art is required – just a willingness to look at art with an open mind and share your
thoughts.

Helen has spent her working life teaching art history, art appreciation and practical art skills to high school students, so brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a guide in helping us understand what we see.
